For people who walk with families
Why join, and how it works
The whole arrangement in six points. It is free to be listed. We take a share only where a family books something through us, never on a funeral home’s own arrangements, and you can leave whenever you like.
Wherever you are. You do not have to be in Nashville, or in Tennessee. If what you offer genuinely supports a family through a farewell, you are welcome, and families searching in your area will find you. We began in Middle Tennessee because that is where we are, not because that is who this is for.
How small we are, so you can decide for yourself. Hestia is new. We hold 30 funeral home price lists and we are building the family side in Nashville and Charlotte first. Joining now means the listing is free and will stay free for you. It also means we cannot yet promise you work, and we would rather you heard that from us than worked it out after three quiet months.
What changes for you if this works. Flowers, music, catering, an officiant, a headstone: today these are usually whoever the funeral home already uses, chosen for the family rather than by them. On Hestia the family has the date, knows what they want and picks for themselves. That is work you currently have no route to, and it is the whole reason to be here early.

It costs nothing to be listed
No monthly fee, no listing fee, no setup cost, no tier that unlocks anything. You pay only when a booking comes through us.
And nobody can pay to be at the top. Not for a position, not for a badge, not for a mention. There is no way to buy one, including for the people who would most like to.
Funeral homes are a deliberate exception on the booking side: arrangements for the person who died are made directly between you and the family, not through our checkout. Being listed and found still costs you nothing. -
Families find you for what you actually do
Not just "funeral home near me". Families tell us what they would like honored, and we show them the people who have said they can support it. These are the kinds of things they are actually looking for:
- burial within 24 hours
- Tahara
- Ghusl
- somewhere to sit shiva
- homegoing celebration
- ofrenda
- natural burial ground
- Spanish spoken
- someone to mind the dog
- rooms near the funeral
- food for a repast
- a celebrant, not a priest
If that is what you offer, you appear. Nobody is asked what religion they are, and you are never asked what yours is. The question on both sides is the same one: what would you like honored, and what are you experienced in supporting.

You get better calls
By the time someone rings you, they have usually seen your prices, your photos and something of who you are. They know what you offer and roughly what it costs.
So the call is not "how much is a funeral". It is "can you do this for us", which is a conversation you can actually have. Published prices nearby already run from $915 to $4,700 for a direct cremation across 30 published price lists; a family who has seen that range is not ringing round to be surprised.
-
You do not have to build anything
Paste your website. Upload your price list if you have one. We make your page, you check it, and you add whatever makes it yours: the photographs, the part of your story that matters, the thing you do that nobody else nearby does.
No software to learn, nothing to install, and nothing for your team to maintain.
-
We are where families are already planning
Travel, rooms, food, flowers, music, care for a dog, someone to sit with the children. Families do all of it in one private place, usually in the same week.
If you offer any of that, you are in the room where it is being decided, rather than on a separate directory nobody opens.
-
You can leave at any time
Pause your listing when you are full. Remove it entirely if it is not working. There is no contract, no notice period, and nobody will ring to talk you out of it.
How signing up actually goes
About ten minutes, and most of it is you deciding what to say about yourself.
- Tell us what you offerChoose from a list, or write it in your own words. A hotel can say "place to stay". A caterer can say "food that gathers". Nobody has to call themselves a death-care provider.
- Say when families can reach youDay or night, usually same day, by appointment, or planning ahead only. Saying plainly what you cannot do helps more than overpromising, and it does not move you down any list.
- Mark what you are experienced supportingTahara, Ghusl, a prompt burial, a homegoing, a natural burial, languages spoken. All optional, and it is about experience rather than identity.
- Send us your website and price listWe build the page from them. If you have no website, we write from what you tell us.
- Check it, and make it yoursNothing goes live until you have read it. Change anything, add photographs, and publish when you are ready.
Who this is for
One rule: what you offer should genuinely support a family through a farewell. Beyond that we are broad on purpose, because families need far more than a funeral home.
Yes, gladly
- Funeral homes, crematories, natural burial grounds
- Celebrants, officiants, faith leaders, death doulas
- Grief companions and counsellors
- Venues, caterers, florists, musicians
- Photographers and keepsake makers
- Hotels, travel help, chairs and sound
- Pet care, child care, meals, house sitting
- Anything else that holds a family up that week
Probably not a fit
- Anything unrelated to a farewell or the family around it
- Services sold by pressure rather than asked for
- Anyone who would want to pay for a better position
That is the deal. You get found by families who want what you offer, and we only get paid when it has worked for you.
