Welcome. What do you offer families?

Why join, and how it works, if you would like to read that first.

You already do the difficult part: showing up for people on the worst days of their lives. This is just a way for families nearby to find you. Choose everything that feels true, in your own words, and change it whenever you like. Families will find you by what you do, not by a title.

What you offer

Pick as many as fit. Most people here do more than one thing.

Care and guidance

Gathering and ceremony

Remembering, after the day

Family care

For example: calligraphy for memorial cards, home altar creation, bilingual Spanish and English support.

When families can reach you

This is the one thing families in the first days ask us most. Nobody is expected to be available at every hour, and saying so plainly helps more than overpromising. A family reading "weekdays, usually same day" knows exactly where they stand.

In the first days after a death

What you can take on quickly, if it is needed

Leave these blank if none apply. It does not move you down any list: families planning ahead are not in a hurry, and plenty never are.

What traditions are you comfortable supporting?

All optional, and you can choose as many as fit. This is here so a family does not have to explain their own traditions twice, to a stranger, in a week when explaining anything is hard. You are not being asked about your own faith or background, only what you are experienced and comfortable supporting.

Where you work

For example: Nashville and nearby, or Middle Tennessee.
So we can confirm your listing and send you the link to edit it. We will not publish it unless you ask us to.

How Hestia works

What we owe you, and what we owe the families who find you.

  • You will never be placed higher because you paid. There is no way to buy a position.
  • Families contact you directly. We never take a share of your care.
  • You can pause or remove your listing whenever you like.
  • Please keep your prices clear. Of everything families tell us, being able to see a price without asking is what they are most grateful for.
