Hestiaâ„¢Pantheon Platforms
For people who sit with families

Something you can hand over.

Hospice social workers, hospital chaplains, bereavement coordinators, estate and elder law attorneys, funeral celebrants. You are in the room in the first hour, and there is usually nothing good to give them.

No fee, in either direction, ever

No referral fee. No commission. No payment of any kind between us. No obligation to mention Hestia, and no requirement to recommend or avoid recommending any funeral business.

We are saying this first because you have heard the other version. Funeral businesses paying for names has a long history, and the professional rules that exist around it are there for good reason. Nothing of value moves between us, so those questions do not arise.

Families never pay Hestia either. Providers pay a fee only when a family completes a booking, and no business can pay for placement or ranking.
Printed cards

Paper, because that is what actually gets used

A family at the worst hour of their life is not sent a link. They are handed something. Tell us how many cards you need and where to post them, and they arrive free. There is no tracking on them and nothing is reported back to you or about you.

Each card carries one sentence about what to do first, and a plain address for the free guides. No logo wall, no marketing.

What a family gets

  • Five questions about their situation, then an ordered list starting with the next hour.
  • Plain-language Tennessee information on who is legally allowed to decide, death certificates, and price lists.
  • A private space where relatives in other cities can take on specific tasks.
  • A way to ask two providers for written totals without giving out details they would rather keep.
How it works

What a family does not get

  • No account requirement to read anything.
  • No cold calls. Hestia never contacts a family that did not ask to be contacted.
  • No advertising, and no selling of anyone's information.
  • No provider sees anything a family did not deliberately send.

If your organisation should be listed

Educators are listed free, permanently

If your organisation helps families and charges them nothing, it belongs in the educator directory rather than the provider marketplace. Same promise, in writing: no fee, no ranking, and no commercial provider placed above you.

For educators and advisers
Before you get in touch

What this is, and what it is not.

There is nothing to sign up for

The guides are free and public. You do not need an account, a login, or an agreement with us to print them, share them, or put them in a bereavement folder. If that is all you want, take them and go.

Getting in touch matters only if you want to publish something under your name, or tell us where we are wrong.

What it costs, in both directions

Nothing. No fee to you, and no payment to you. No referral fee, no commission, no revenue share, no gift, nothing of value moving either way, ever.

If Hestia ever charges any provider category, educators, advisers and attorneys are excluded permanently. This is written on the site so you can hold us to it.

What we are not asking

  • Not to refer families to Hestia.
  • Not to recommend, or avoid recommending, any funeral provider.
  • Not to endorse Hestia, publicly or otherwise.
  • Not to give us your clients' details. We do not want them.

Hospice staff have real constraints on appearing to steer families toward particular funeral businesses, and attorneys are bound by rules on anything of value given for a client recommendation. Hestia is built so those questions do not arise.

If you write something

You keep the copyright. We publish it under your name and your organisation, with a link if you want one. You can ask us to change or remove it at any time and we will, without argument.

We do not pay for it and we do not ask for exclusivity: publish the same piece anywhere else you like.

If you tell us we are wrong

We correct it. If something in our Tennessee guidance is inaccurate, families are relying on it right now, so this is the most useful thing you can do for us and it takes one email.

We will not name you as the source of a correction unless you want to be named.

What we might ask, once

What your families ask you most often. That is it. You are free to ignore the question, and it changes nothing about anything above.
