Terms of Service

Terms for using Hestia™ and Plan with Hestia™.

Effective date: August 2, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Hestia™ and the website located at planwithhestia.com, including related pages, forms, family spaces, vendor profiles, request flows, and planning features.

Hestia™ is operated by Pantheon Platforms Inc., a Delaware C-Corp registered at 8 The Green, STE R, Dover, DE 19901, USA (“Pantheon Platforms,” “Hestia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The responsible party is Hanna Lincoln.

By accessing or using Hestia™ or Plan with Hestia™, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What Hestia™ does

Hestia™ provides a family-facing family space and provider discovery experience for funeral and memorial planning. Families may use Hestia™ to organize planning tasks, compare funeral-related providers, request information, save vendors, and keep decisions in the same record.

Hestia™ may include listings for funeral homes, cremation providers, cemeteries, memorial venues, florists, caterers, hotels, livestreaming providers, obituary or printing services, officiants, grief-support resources, and other related providers.

Hestia™ is not a funeral home, crematory, cemetery, legal advisor, financial advisor, medical provider, clergy provider, or licensed funeral director.

Hestia does not arrange, direct, supervise, or perform transportation or care of human remains; submit death records; determine what goods or services are legally required; or act as an agent authorized to make arrangements for a family or provider.

2. Provider responsibility

Providers listed on or contacted through Hestia™ are independent third parties. They are responsible for their own services, costs, availability, licenses, regulatory obligations, representations, contracts, fulfillment, cancellations, customer issues, and professional conduct.

Hestia™ does not provide funeral services directly. If a family books or requests services through Hestia™, the relevant provider remains responsible for delivering the service.

3. General funeral-planning information

Hestia™ may provide general educational information about funeral planning, cremation, burial, memorial services, cost categories, provider comparison, and related topics. This information is for general informational purposes only and is not legal, financial, medical, tax, religious, or professional advice.

Families should confirm legal requirements, provider costs, availability, licensing, and service details directly with the relevant provider or professional.

Hestia is not an emergency service. For an immediate medical, safety, or law-enforcement emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service or responsible local authority.

4. Accounts and family spaces

To use certain features, including private family spaces, saved vendors, and provider information requests, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Family spaces are intended to help users organize planning information. You are responsible for deciding what information to enter and whom to invite or share information with.

5. Vendor profiles and unclaimed listings

Hestia™ may create vendor profiles using publicly available information, business websites, public license records, directory information, provider submissions, or other sources.

Profiles may be marked “Public record,” “Claim pending,” “Claimed,” “License checked,” “Accepting requests,” or “Pricing updated.” Each label describes only the specific action stated. It is not a certification, endorsement, quality guarantee, or promise that all provider information is current.

An unclaimed profile does not mean the provider has approved, endorsed, reviewed, or partnered with Hestia™. Hestia™ does not rank providers as “best,” does not certify providers, and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of profile information.

Providers may request to claim, update, or correct a profile through Hestia’s vendor claim process.

Hestia records the source and review date where practicable and may suspend a profile while a material accuracy, authority, intellectual-property, or safety concern is investigated.

6. Vendor claim and update requests

If you submit a vendor claim or update request, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of the relevant business or provider. Hestia™ may request additional information before updating, approving, or marking a profile as claimed.

Submitting a claim request does not guarantee profile approval, ranking, placement, or lead volume.

7. Requests and quotes

Users may request information, quotes, availability, or service details from providers through Hestia™. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, information submitted through Hestia™ is a request, not a confirmed arrangement.

Provider costs, availability, service details, and cancellation terms may change. Users should review all provider terms directly before making decisions.

8. Memorial funding is not available

Hestia™ does not currently offer a memorial fund or a contribution feature. Hestia™ does not accept, hold, escrow, route, record, approve, distribute, refund, or guarantee funeral-expense contributions.

Do not send money to Hestia™ for a family or funeral expense. If Hestia™ offers a funding feature in the future, separate terms will explain how it works before anyone can use it.

9. Fees, paid services, and future products

The family space is currently free to access. This only refers to family-space access. Third-party providers charge for their own goods and services.

Providers may be listed without a monthly subscription. Hestia does not currently activate marketplace checkout or collect a completed-booking fee. Payment does not purchase a higher organic ranking.

Hestia may introduce a clearly disclosed marketplace fee or payment workflow only after applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, processor, and operational review. Updated provider terms will describe the fee trigger, refunds, disputes, responsibility, and acceptance process before activation.

10. Provider terms and responsibilities

Providers remain responsible for their own costs, service terms, cancellations, customer issues, licenses, permits, and fulfillment.

Hestia™ may use third-party service providers to operate parts of the product. Separate third-party terms may apply where those tools are used. Hestia™ does not claim to be a funeral home, funeral director, insurance product, legal advisor, financial advisor, or pre-need seller.

11. No standalone body transport category

Hestia™ does not offer body transport, removal, or human-remains transport as a standalone consumer category. If transfer, removal, or transportation of remains is required, families should work with licensed funeral homes, cremation providers, or other legally authorized providers.

11A. Marketplace checkout is not currently available

Hestia does not currently accept, process, route, or hold payments for provider services. Providers and families must arrange contracts and payment directly with one another outside Hestia.

A future payment feature, if activated, will be governed by updated terms and applicable third-party payment terms. No current profile, quote, request, or dashboard screen creates a right to use a Hestia checkout.

12. Platform misuse

Hestia™ provides planning tools, provider discovery, and inquiries with the details already filled in. Users and providers may not misuse Hestia™, misrepresent requests, harvest contacts, or interfere with the service.

Families remain free to contact and choose providers directly. If conversations move outside Hestia™, some family space records or request history may be incomplete.

The family space is independent of provider participation. Families may add or record any provider, including a provider that is not listed on Hestia™, and may use the family space without contacting or booking a provider through Hestia™.

Providers do not receive access to a family space merely because they are listed, claimed, or participating. Family information is shared with a provider only when an authorized family user deliberately sends a request, shares information, or otherwise directs Hestia™ to do so.

13. No scraping, resale, or lead harvesting

You may not scrape, crawl, harvest, export, copy, resell, republish, or misuse Hestia™ data, vendor profiles, family requests, contact information, cost information, or site content. You may not use Hestia™ to build competing lead lists, directories, databases, or solicitation campaigns.

13A. Artificial intelligence and automated access

You may not use an automated system, bot, crawler, scraper, agent, model, or similar tool to access Hestia unless Pantheon Platforms gives you written permission. General search engines may index public pages when they follow our robots.txt rules and do not use Hestia material for artificial intelligence purposes.

You may not use Hestia content, software, provider information, family information, page output, or other platform material to train, fine-tune, ground, test, evaluate, benchmark, or improve an artificial intelligence or machine learning system.

You may not place Hestia material into a model, dataset, vector database, retrieval system, prompt library, or other automated knowledge system. This restriction includes retrieval-augmented generation and similar systems.

You may not use an AI agent or automated tool to create an account, enter a family space, send provider requests, submit profile claims, collect information, copy page content, or act as a family member or provider.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, probe, test, or attempt to discover Hestia source code, private APIs, data models, security controls, business logic, non-public features, or technical structure. This restriction does not apply where applicable law does not allow it.

You may not use access to Hestia or Hestia material to reproduce the service, imitate its protected expression, create a substitute service, or help another person build a competing product. This does not claim ownership of general ideas, facts, methods, systems, or processes that the law does not protect.

Written permission must identify the approved material, purpose, access method, and period of use. Silence or technical access does not mean permission.

14. Reviews, rankings, and endorsements

Profile order, visibility, or search placement does not mean a provider is the best provider, safest provider, cheapest provider, or most appropriate provider for a family. Hestia does not sell sponsored placement or higher organic ranking.

Hestia™ does not order or recommend providers based on commission, referral compensation, marketplace fees, or expected transaction value. Claimed status only means that a business representative has participated in the profile process. It is not an endorsement or quality certification.

Hestia does not currently publish consumer ratings or reviews. If reviews are introduced, Hestia will publish collection and moderation standards, prohibit fake or sentiment-conditioned incentivized reviews, disclose material relationships, and provide a reporting process.

15. User content

You may submit information, messages, notes, vendor requests, claim requests, profile updates, documents, or other content through Hestia™. You represent that you have the right to submit that content and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

You grant Hestia™ a limited right to use submitted content as needed to provide the service, process requests, operate family spaces, contact providers, improve the platform, prevent fraud or misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

16. Privacy

Hestia’s handling of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy. Because funeral planning may involve sensitive family information, users should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information unless needed for the planning process.

17. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Hestia™ for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or exploitative purposes. You may not misrepresent your identity or authority, submit false provider claims, interfere with platform security, access another user’s family space, scrape or bulk export data, or spam families or providers.

18. Intellectual property, access, and brand use

Pantheon Platforms Inc. and its licensors retain their rights in the Hestia software, original site text, graphics, photographs, illustrations, videos, and other protected materials. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

Subject to these Terms, Pantheon Platforms gives you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable permission to access and use Hestia for its intended purpose. You may not sell, sublicense, lease, or commercially distribute access to Hestia.

Copyright does not protect general ideas, facts, systems, methods, processes, product concepts, or standard interface patterns. Nothing in these Terms claims ownership of material that cannot be protected by law.

Hestia™, Plan with Hestia™, and Pantheon Platforms™ are names used to identify Pantheon Platforms products and services. Cerberus™, Charon™, Charon Compliance™, Hermes™, and Elysium™ may refer to projects, prototypes, planned products, or services in development. Use of the ™ symbol does not state that a mark is registered.

You may refer to Hestia in plain text when you accurately describe the service. You may not use a Pantheon Platforms name or logo in a way that is likely to confuse people about source, sponsorship, affiliation, certification, endorsement, or approval.

You may not copy, publish, sell, or distribute a substantial part of protected Hestia material unless the law permits it or Pantheon Platforms gives written permission. The restrictions on scraping, lead harvesting, data resale, and platform misuse in Sections 12, 13, and 17 also apply.

Provider names, logos, trademarks, price lists, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Hestia may identify providers and services for planning, comparison, and public information. A listing does not by itself show approval, participation, partnership, certification, or endorsement.

More information appears in the Brand and Intellectual Property Notice.

19. Third-party services and links

Hestia™ may link to provider websites, map services, analytics tools, form tools, or other third-party services. Hestia™ is not responsible for third-party websites, terms, policies, actions, costs, availability, content, or services.

20. Disclaimers

Hestia™ is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hestia™ disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.

Hestia™ does not guarantee that a provider will respond, accept a request, provide accurate information, honor displayed information, or deliver services satisfactorily.

21. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pantheon Platforms Inc. and Hestia™ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, emotional distress, reputational harm, business interruption, or costs of substitute services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hestia’s total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed USD $100.

22. Indemnification

If you are a provider, vendor, commercial user, or person submitting a claim or profile update, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pantheon Platforms Inc., Hestia™, and their officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your services, profile information, claims, user content, breach of these Terms, violation of law, or dispute with a family or customer.

23. Suspension or termination

Hestia™ may suspend or terminate access to the service, remove content, restrict profiles, reject claim requests, or disable accounts if we believe a user has violated these Terms, created risk, submitted inaccurate or unauthorized information, misused the platform, or acted inconsistently with Hestia’s trust and safety standards.

24. Changes to the service or Terms

Hestia™ may modify the service or these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the website with an updated effective date. Continued use of Hestia™ after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

25. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms waives a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.
