Clear profile status. Deliberate family sharing.
Hestia separates public business records from provider participation and gives families control over when information is shared.
A research starting point
Information may come from an identified public source or business website. It has not necessarily been confirmed by the provider.
Profile control confirmed
Hestia has reviewed evidence that the person requesting access is authorized to act for the business.
Participating now
The provider has deliberately enabled structured family requests through Hestia.
A label describes only the stated action. It is not an endorsement, certification, guarantee of quality, or promise of availability.
Corrections and claims
- Providers can claim or request a correction.
- Hestia may request business-email, website, license, or other authority evidence.
- Material disputes may cause a profile or field to be hidden during review.
- Source and review dates are retained where practicable.
Family privacy
- Family spaces are private by default.
- A listing does not give a provider family-space access.
- Information is sent only when an authorized family user submits a request.
- Users should not upload Social Security numbers, passwords, card details, or unnecessary medical records.
Planning and marketplace technology—not a funeral provider.
Hestia does not provide funeral directing, cremation, cemetery, monument, legal, medical, financial, clergy, or emergency services. Providers independently control consultation, availability, prices, contracts, licensing, fulfillment, cancellations, and customer disputes.
Hestia does not determine what services are legally required, take custody of remains, submit official death records, or make arrangements as a family’s agent.
Hestia checkout and completed-booking fees remain unavailable while legal, regulatory, processor, and operational review is completed. Families and providers arrange contracts and payment directly.
Before reviews are introduced, Hestia will publish collection, moderation, disclosure, reporting, and dispute standards.
For an immediate medical, safety, or law-enforcement emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service or responsible local authority.
