Hestia
Nashville FAQ

Funeral planning questions Nashville families ask first.

Hestia gives families independent planning guidance and a private family space for organizing tasks, provider options, relatives, and information requests.

Is Hestia a Nashville funeral home?

No. Hestia is not a funeral home. It is a free, independent family space families can use alongside the funeral home, cremation provider, cemetery, church, venue, florist, caterer, or other provider they choose.

Can I use any funeral home with Hestia?

Yes. Hestia is independent. You can add and keep records for any provider you are considering, even if the provider is not listed on Hestia.

Do provider payments affect ranking?

No. Providers do not pay a monthly subscription simply to be listed. Marketplace checkout and completed-booking fees are not currently active. Payment does not purchase a higher organic ranking.

How do we start?

Begin by confirming who has authority to make arrangements, gathering basic personal information, checking for written wishes, and deciding which relatives need access to the plan.

Can we request price lists?

Yes. Families can ask providers for a General Price List and service details. Inside Hestia, those requests can be saved as part of the family record.

What happens after the funeral?

Families may still need to handle certificates, estate conversations, benefits, thank-you notes, subscriptions, accounts, memorial items, grief support, and family follow-up.

This page is general information for families. Confirm legal, religious, financial, and service requirements directly with the appropriate provider, county office, clergy, attorney, or other qualified professional.
