Can I use any funeral home with Hestia?
Yes. Hestia is independent. You can add and keep records for any provider you are considering, even if the provider is not listed on Hestia.
Do provider payments affect ranking?
No. Providers do not pay to be listed, and no one can pay for a better position. Booking fees are not active today.
How do we start?
Gently, and one step at a time. Find out who has the authority to make arrangements, look for any written wishes, gather some basic information, and decide who you’d like to plan with.
Can we request price lists?
Yes. Families can ask providers for a General Price List and service details. Inside Hestia, those requests can be saved as part of the family record.
What happens after the funeral?
There are still some things to handle, like certificates, benefits, accounts, and thank-you notes, but none of it needs to be rushed. Our after-the-funeral checklist can help, and so can leaning on each other.
